At That Girl is SMART, we believe that every girl has the right to be S.M.A.R.T. (Successful | Magnificent | Authentic | Resourceful | and Talented). Our core mission is to empower girls by providing step-by-step guidance that supports their positive development and helps them realize their highest potential. We understand that when girls have access to services, resources, and support, they can address emotional, core issues, and educational needs, leading to systemic change.

We are committed to safeguarding each girl's humanity, uniqueness, and character (ages 6-18) whom we mentor, facilitating their journey to becoming valuable assets to their communities, both personally and professionally. Our statement of purpose, established in 2018, underscores our dedication to racial equity. We encourage girls of all races and backgrounds to use their voices to engage in critical dialogues and drive change in support of racial equity and social justice within their communities. We continuously update our statement as we work toward addressing disparities and achieving these crucial goals.
